마이클 잭슨의 공연영상을 보면, 정말 팝의 황제라는 타이틀이 전혀 거창하지 않다고 느껴진다. 그리고 그 사람이 여러 소송에 휘말려 힘들어하는 걸 보면 안타깝기 그지없다.

마이클 잭슨은 하늘이 준 재능이 무언지를 제대로 보여주는 사람이다.

강수지 노래 중에 제일 좋아하는 노래. 1991년 발표된 2집 '흩어진 나날들'에 수록된 곡. 이 노래에 대한 추억이 하나 있다. 초등학교 6학년에 올라갈 즈음인 1992년 초에 보이스카웃(요즘은 걸스카웃이랑 합쳐서 이름을 바꿨다던데...) 보장 연수(?)에 갔을 때다. 대전지역 보이스카웃들중에 6학년 애들이 모여서 보장(조장같은 거)에 대한 교육을 받으러 어느 연수원에 모였다. 어디든 떼로 가면 식사순서가 중요한 법인데, 노래 잘 부르는 조부터 먼저 보내준다고 하더라. 어떤 애들 2명이서 먼저 불렀는데, 퇴짜를 맞았다. 왠지 내가 부르면 될 거 같길래 나가서 이 노래를 불렀다. 결국 그 날 내 노래덕분에 제일 먼저 밥을 먹었다. ㅋㅋㅋ

강수지와 가장 어울리면서도 기운빠지지 않는 노래. 윤상씨가 작곡했는데 멜로디가 참 맘에 든다.
